Kim Richards Checks Back Into Rehab After Being Banned From The Beverly Hills Hotel, Is ‘Desperate’ To Regain Role On ‘RHOBH’

Kim Richards has reportedly entered another treatment facility — the third for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star in the last two months.

Following a relapse earlier this year, Kim Richards went through a series of unfortunate events, starting with her April 16 arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel. After enjoying several cocktails at the hotel’s Polo Lounge, the reality star and mother of four became a disturbance to other patrons. However, when asked to leave the restaurant, Richards refused and the police were called. After a brief standoff in the restroom of the Polo Lounge, Richards was taken into custody, where she kicked a police officer.

According to a June 11 report by People Magazine, Kim Richards is now banned from the Beverly Hills Hotel, a place she claimed was a favorite of her late mother.

Days after the news of Kim Richards’ arrest went public, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star made an appearance on Dr. Phil, where she opened up about her relapse and arrest. Richards also agreed to seek treatment for her addiction to alcohol, which she did, but only briefly. After leaving the facility to attend daughter Brooke Brinson’s wedding, Richards was required to return the following Monday, but failed to do so, choosing to instead stay in Mexico, where she allegedly indulged in an alcohol binge.

Once she returned to Los Angeles over a week later, Kim Richards entered a second facility, which she’s reportedly left in lieu of her third choice, which is reportedly located in Malibu, California.

On June 11, a source revealed the following to Radar Online.

“[Kim Richards] entered inpatient treatment late Wednesday night. It’s a program that last up to two years!”

According to the source, Kim Richards is hoping her dedication to getting treatment for her issues will garner her a return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 6. Following her relapse and arrest, it was widely reported, via Inquisitr, that Richards had been fired but could possibly return to the show in a guest role.

“[Kim Richards]’s bosses were aware she was entering a long-term treatment program that allows her to work because she desperately wants to save the relationship with the network now.”

Kim Richards has starred on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since Season 1, along with her younger sister, Kyle, who has also been reportedly fired from the show, but publicly denied it on Twitter.
