Sheer Horror When Man Finds Black Widow Spider Inside His Ear [Video]

An unnamed man in Wenatchee, Washington, felt a “tickling sensation” in his ear. It was driving him crazy. It turns out there was a deadly black widow spider inside his ear canal.

He decided to use the camera on his phone to try and find out what was going on. The man published the video footage on YouTube and told of his horrifying experience in the description.

“I was using my phone camera as a way to see into my ear with the light provided… I did not care about recording. What I captured made me wish I was not seeing what I saw… ever!”

According to the Mirror, using the camera on his phone he got the most horrifying image imaginable. A black widow spider had set up home inside his ear canal.

He said at first it was just a tickle, and he thought he was imagining it — that the sensation was just “in his head.” The trouble began when he realized that what was causing the tickle was, indeed, physically inside his head. He could feel the black widow spider scratching inside his ear.

The man then spent more than three hours rinsing it out, “two hours right away and one hour in the morning shower.”

Even worse, when he was sure the black widow spider was out of his ear he could swear that he could still feel it. He repeatedly swatted his face and his ear, looked all over his body and legs but couldn’t find the nasty little arachnid. However the man swore he could still hear it.

“.. damn mind tricks you know?”

He then left the bathroom and turned on his bedroom lights, waiting for the black widow spider to get further away from his ear canal to “make sure the f****r wouldn’t go back in it.”

He ended the description by saying that reliving the experience in his mind is even more terrifying than it was when it actually happened.

“I can’t tell you know much this affected my mind! Last 50 seconds is just me contemplating what I should do for the rest of my life…”

As far as the video goes, no one knows what happened to the black widow spider itself, and the man can only hope that he actually drowned the thing in the process of washing it out of his ear.

It seems black widow spiders are coming up in the news on a regular basis. The Inquisitr has recently reported several stories, including the mother black widow spider who was discovered in a bag of grapes when leaving a U.K. supermarket. That one possibly left up to 400 baby spiders in the bag, which was retrieved by officials after the panicked customer dumped it in a garbage can.

Then there was the woman in Vermont who was bitten by a black widow spider which had been hiding in yet another bag of grapes.

For a change of pace, another family in the U.K. found another deadly type of spider in a bunch of bananas. Luckily in that case, the Brazilian wandering spiders were still in egg form, otherwise it could have been a nasty experience indeed. However, authorities are still on the lookout for mom.

Admittedly, given a choice you can bet people would prefer finding a black widow spider in a bunch of grapes over actually having one of the nasty little arachnids burrowing inside their ear!
