Kristen Taekman Slams Bethenny Frankel: ‘I Don’t Need Any More Friends!’

Kristen Taekman may not be a business mogul compared to Bethenny Frankel, who has made millions from her Skinnygirl empire, but this Real Housewives of New York star is getting involved with business as well. Taekman has decided to do a nail polish line, and somehow the rumor got started that Kristen hadn’t trademarked her line. Taekman was convinced that Bethenny was the one who questioned her business savvy.

So when Kristen Taekman saw an opportunity to talk to Bethenny about the drama, she pulled her aside during a night out. But Frankel quickly pulled away again when she saw how aggressive Kristen was in setting the record straight. Sadly, this isn’t the first time that Frankel has shunned Kristen, so Taekman has made a decision.

According to a new Bravo report, Kristen Taekman is now revealing that she is upset with Bethenny and has decided that she doesn’t need more friends, especially people who are speaking behind her back. Kristen finally took a moment to sit down with Frankel, but it didn’t go as expected.

“Enough with beating around the damn bush with Bethenny! Why on earth is she bad-mouthing my business? The name is trademarked, thank-you-very-much! I felt that I should just confront Bethenny myself. Seriously, what’s the deal here?” Kristen Taekman revealed.

“You barely speak to me to my face, but yet you have plenty to say behind my back? I really just don’t get it at all. And once I do approach her, she just dismisses me rudely and walks away! I have made the conscious decision that I don’t need any more friends!”

It sounds like two wires were crossed somewhere. Bethenny claims she didn’t question Kristen Taekman’s trademark, but Kristen seems determined that she did. And Carole Radziwill is the woman in the middle of it all, and yet, she isn’t brought in to discuss her part in the drama. According to the Inquisitr, Taekman really wanted to hear her co-star’s side of the story.

“We didn’t click. J’adore Carole and I genuinely consider her a friend, but but she has no idea what she is talking about. I never said Kristen didn’t register the trademark. I never said Kristen was dumb. I had no idea about either of these things. I simply questioned Kristen choosing a name that is remarkably similar to another much larger brand,” Bethenny explained in her own defense.

What do you think went wrong here? Do you think Kristen Taekman is right to write off Frankel as a friend?
