Bethenny Frankel Talks Kristen Taekman Attack; Did The Skinnygirl Mogul Really Call Her ‘RHONY’ Co-Star Dumb?
Bethenny Frankel thwarted any oncoming attack by Kristen Taekman in Tuesday night’s episode of the Real Housewives of New York by refusing to engage. Although she admits questioning Taekman’s decision to call her nail polish line Pop of Color, Frankel maintains she did not call her co-star dumb.
During Tuesday’s RHONY episode, Carole Radziwill thought it a good idea to tell Kristen that Bethenny called the Pop of Color creator dumb for not having trademarked her business name. Taekman took offense and immediately sought out her co-star to discuss the issue. Although Kristen patiently awaited her turn to speak to Frankel, when the two finally sit down, Bethenny quickly shuts the conversation down since, as she stated in her confessional, she knows what is about to come from her co-star.
“I’m not going to sit there while someone’s loading bullets into their gun and get shot.”
In walking away from what clearly was going to be another argument, Bethenny Frankel did not have to answer as to whether she actually called her co-star dumb. However, in her latest Bravo blog, the Skinnygirl mogul addresses the accusation.
“Now to Kristen. I saw her winding up the whole party and simply couldn’t do it. We didn’t click. J’adore Carole, and I genuinely consider her a friend, but she has no idea what she is talking about. I never said Kristen didn’t register the trademark. I never said Kristen was dumb. I had no idea about either of these things. I simply questioned Kristen choosing a name that is remarkably similar to another much larger brand.”
She goes on to say the “moment was nonsense” and fans will see this later on.
According to Kristen Taekman, her co-star walking away from the conversation was rude and dismissive. Taekman is now sure she wants no part of Bethenny Frankel.
“I felt that I should just confront Bethenny myself. Seriously, what’s the deal here? You barely speak to me to my face, but yet you have plenty to say behind my back? I really just don’t get it at all. And once I do approach her, she just dismisses me rudely and walks away! I have made the conscious decision that I don’t need any more friends!
Bethenny Frankel’s feud with Kristen Taekman is not the only relationship problem the Skinnygirl creator has faced with her RHONY co-stars this season. As the Inquisitr previously reported, she and Heather Thomson have butted heads this season and although Frankel sought Thomson out after walking away from Taekman to apologize once again for the blowout at Dorinda Medley’s birthday dinner, Heather decided after the scene at the birthday bash, she, too, is over trying to be friends with Frankel.
