Orange County Housewife Vicki Gunvalson Weighs In On New ‘RHOC’ Co-Star Meghan King Edmonds

Orange County housewife Vicki Gunvalson is unimpressed with Meghan King Edmonds. During a June 8 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gunvalson spoke of her newest Orange County co-star.

“I don’t know Meghan very well. She doesn’t really live in California. I’m 53 and she’s 30; I could be her mother. She doesn’t have children. She doesn’t work, I don’t think. We don’t have much in common. But she’s good eye candy and she’ll bring in younger viewers.”

Apparently, Edmonds only recently moved to Orange County from St. Louis, where both she and husband Jim are from. At home, Edmonds spends time with her husband’s teenage daughter, and is close with her mother, as well. As for her career, she doesn’t appear to have one, which seems to be a turn off for Gunvalson, who prides herself on being a hard worker.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Edmonds also spoke of her Orange County co-star on Monday. During an interview with OK! Magazine, via Radar Online, Edmonds claimed she was not tolerant of Gunvalson’s antics, and made it a point to call her out when necessary.

“I think that Vicki goes around in circles when she talks and she likes to place blame and ask me about who I am and what my family’s about and then change the subject and talk about something personal. I called her out on what she was doing. And I don’t think she liked it, so she came more and more after me … I call out her faults.”

While Edmonds isn’t a fan of the Orange County original, Vicki Gunvalson, she said her interaction with Tamra Barney has been a much more positive experience than she had expected.

“[Barney] is really different than what I expected. I was expecting her to not be nice to me and just be snarky and it was total opposite, we hit it off right away … I thought Vicki and I would hit it off right away and be friends but that didn’t go as planned … I was expecting to like [Lizzie Rovsek] because we’re around the same age and that worked out.”

As for Shannon Beador, Edmonds said things between them were good at first, but as filming on The Real Housewives of Orange County continued, they hit a rocky point, and were reportedly unable to get their friendship back on track.

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 airs on Monday nights on Bravo at 9 p.m.
