‘RHOC’ Star Tamra Barney Reacts To Shannon Beador’s Husband’s Affair

RHOC star Tamra Barney didn’t hear about Shannon Beador’s husband’s affair along with the rest of the world. In fact, she knew about David Beador’s cheating long before it was exposed on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County.

During an interview with OK! Magazine on June 9, the RHOC star admitted to knowing about David’s affair before the news was revealed on Monday night’s Season 10 premiere, and claimed it was the knowledge of others, which ultimately prompted Shannon to discuss the issue on camera.

“I knew about this last year. I knew that David was having an affair last year. I think too many people knew about it and she was worried that it was going to come out.”

While the RHOC star claimed her co-star could have easily avoided the issue on camera and denied the report publicly, she felt it was best to take a more honest approach — regardless of how it could impact her marriage.

“I think that it’s great of her and scary at the same time for her to share that with everybody. She could’ve easily brushed it under the rug and said, ‘Oh it’s a lie.’ But the truth of the matter is it’s very real.”

Throughout the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, fans will continue to watch as Shannon and David attempt to work through their issues, and luckily, as the RHOC star pointed out, they appear to have done just that now that production has concluded.

“They’re doing well. I respect Shannon for bringing it up. It’s a tough subject to put out there on the air. It shows how real the show is that Shannon was willing to lay it out on the line. We’ll see what else is exposed.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Shannon spoke about exposing her husband’s affair in her latest Bravo blog, which was written and submitted to the network after the premiere episode aired. Speaking to fans, Shannon explained that her decision to expose her marital troubles came after months of counseling, both with David and with their kids. Shannon also said she hoped that doing so would help other couples who may be faced with the same problem.
