Barry Williams of ‘The Brady Bunch’ Welcomes Baby Girl

Barry Williams, the actor best known for playing Greg Brady in the hit 70s TV series The Brady Bunch, and his girlfriend, Elizabeth Kennedy, are celebrating the birth of a beautiful baby girl.

The couple reportedly named their new arrival Samantha Rose, who arrived early. She was originally due on April 23, according to RumorFix.

RumorFix had no immediate comment on the baby’s measurements.

E!Online writes that baby Samantha is the second child for the 57-year-old star, who’s got a 9-year-old son, Brandon Eric, from a previous marriage, and it’s the first kid for Kennedy.

While the happy couple is all smiles now, not everything has been smooth between the pair in the past.

As reported by TMZ in 2009, Barry Williams filed a restraining order against Elizabeth after he claimed she allegedly threatened to kill him and herself after losing in a beauty contest. The actor also claimed that she allegedly withdrew $29,000 from his bank account and accused him of having an affair.

At the time, Elizabeth was ordered to stay 100 yards away from the actor, reports AccessHollywood.com.

Aside from his role as the eldest “Brady Bunch” child, Barry Williams has also narrated and co-executive produced the TV movie “Growing Up Brady,” based on his book of the same name, a tell-all from behind the scenes of the hit 1970’s sitcom.
