Roloff Divorce: Matt And Amy Roloff Amicable, More ‘Little People’ Episodes Coming

Although Matt and Amy Roloff are getting a divorce, the two are amicable, and seem okay with their decision to live their lives as friends rather than a married couple. According to CNN, the couple has released a joint statement about their decision to divorce after they announced their separation in 2014.

“It is with great sadness that we have come to the difficult decision to file for divorce. We are proud of what we have accomplished together including raising four wonderful children who have grown to become remarkable adults and building our strong and ongoing successful businesses. Our kids and our ever-growing family, and the love and support we have for them, will be our priority. We will continue to work together side by side in the daily responsibilities for our many current ventures. We would like to thank our family, friends and all our fans for their continued support and understanding during this difficult time.”

The Roloff divorce won’t necessarily stop this family from filming their reality show, Little People, Big World. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the family has filmed additional episodes (as evidenced by Matt’s Facebook page) for the show since their split. The popular show follows Matt, Amy, and their four kids (Jeremy, Zach, Molly, and Jacob) as they work, play, and do everything in between, all while facing the world with challenges that most other people don’t have.

You see, Matt and Amy call themselves “little people,” and face the world at just 4 feet tall. One of their kids is also a “little person,” but does a great job keeping up with his siblings. The show has warmed many hearts over the years (it began in 2006), and many fans are devastated to hear that Matt and Amy are splitting up.

The Roloff divorce doesn’t mean that Matt and Amy are no longer friendly toward each other. While the two realized that they couldn’t live together, they seem to be dedicated to their lives, and to their family regardless. Check out these tweets from Amy.

According to the Hollywood Gossip, Matt and Amy were married for 27 years.
