Earn Double Experience In ‘Neverwinter’ On Xbox One To Celebrate Upcoming Expansion

With the “Rise of Tiamat” module update coming to Neverwinter on the Xbox One this month, players are being encouraged to level up with a week of double experience. Although the week of double experience was announced over the weekend, the event has officially started according to the official Twitter account for the game.

The double experience event in Neverwinter means players can level up characters and companions quicker. Experience earned from defeating foes, completing quests, finishing Leadership tasks, and invocating all reward double the experience until the event concludes on Friday, June 12.

“Your trusty companions will also benefit from this great event! Companions will also gain double XP for kills, XP rewards, etc. Even if you are level 60, your companions will continue to gain double XP as you progress through the game.”

Neverwinter players are being treated to double experience on the Xbox One because the next module is about to release on the platform. “Rise of Tiamat,” the fifth module for Neverwinter, is scheduled to release this month on the system. The expansion will add a new adventure zone, 25-player battle versus the dragon Tiamat, and much more when it launches. A number of other fixes will also be added when “Rise of Tiamat” releases including stability improvements and an adjustment to the way the vote-kick system works.

“The upcoming expansion will also introduce the Well of Dragons – the legendary graveyard of dragons – where players will trek through the arid desert lit only by the scorching sun and take part in a variety of new heroic encounters as they work towards completing the final chapters of the ‘Tyranny of Dragons’ campaign. Halt any cult activities, slay the dragons who have been summoned and speak with some familiar faces, all while the Temple of Tiamat looms in the distance.”

Although Neverwinter on the Xbox One is a little behind the PC version of the game, it is clearly catching up quickly. The PC version is currently running the sixth module “Elemental Evil” while the Xbox One is about to update with the fifth module “Rise of Tiamat.” Two new modules, “Strongholds” and “Underdark,” are already announced for both systems and are expected to release this year.

As reported by the Inquisitr, five expansions are being released this year for Neverwinter on the Xbox One. Heroes on the platform are sure to stay entertained with that much content releasing throughout the year. In fact, a level cap increase is likely to occur when the “Elemental Evil” launches on the Xbox One. That module increased the level cap to 70 on the PC and added the Oathbound Paladin class to the game.
