WWE News: Reason Why WWE Wants More Talent For WWE NXT Revealed

There can never be enough talent to go around. In the industry of professional wrestling, depth is something that is vital to survive as a business. One of the key reasons the WWE has continued to be so successful is due to the depth it has sustained over the years. For example, the Attitude Era was riddled with main event stars.

Mankind, Kane, the Undertaker, Triple H, the Rock, and Stone Cold Steve Austin all wrestled at the same time. That’s not even including the mass array of mid-card stars the WWE had at the time. With the birth of WWE NXT, WWE officials are trying to re-create that depth and start it at NXT.

In an earlier report by the Inquisitr, the WWE is interested in bringing in TNA talents when their respective contracts expire. By default, that’ll boost the depth of the organization. WWE is trying out former TNA talents, but the reason has to do with WWE NXT.

According to AllWrestlingNews.com, the reason for WWE trying out former TNA talents is because of the lack of depth at NXT.

“Johnny Gargano, Jimmy Preston, former TNA Knockout Taeler Hendrix andHavok will be working the WWE tryouts that begin next week in Orlando at the Performance Center.

“The reason WWE is looking to add more talent to the rosters is because they realize that the NXT brand doesn’t have the depth that’s needed, especially with the decision to pull Owens at the same time Itami and Zayn are injured.”

The report goes on to talk about how the talents WWE started from scratch aren’t progressing as they would’ve wanted. That’s not a knock on the WWE team because they have the best trainers in the world. Some talents fix problems quicker than others, which should’ve been expected. Triple H knows exactly what he’s doing with his creation.

The injuries to Hideo Itami and Sami Zayn really put a wrench into Triple H’s long-term plans. Instead of Kevin Owens making a run to WWE’s main roster soon, he’d still be in WWE NXT for the foreseeable future. The WWE main roster stars are making the ratings go up and keeping the younger groups of fans entertained.

Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Bray Wyatt are the next batch of young talent that will carry the WWE into the next generation. Just when the WWE Universe thought there was nobody else, Kevin Owens just beat John Cena at Elimination Chamber. The only worry now is the WWE NXT roster. My bet is that they’ll be just fine.
