Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Have A Name For Baby No. 2 — And No, It’s Not East West Or South West
Nearly a week after Kim Kardashian announced she was pregnant with baby No. 2, the reality star says that she already has a name in mind. Kim and her husband, Kanye West, are not going with the names “South” or “East” West for their second child. In fact, the couple wants to go the “traditional route” when it comes to choosing a name for their next baby.
An alleged source claims that Kimye wants a strong name for their child. They believe that none of the latitudinal directions on the compass feels very strong. Sorry, South West fans. Kardashian, 34, and West, 38, believed that “North” was a very strong name, even though fans joked that “North” was the name they should give their first child.
“There was a power element because it’s always on top, or pointing up. The other three just don’t have that swagger.”
Yes, well, why would you consider naming your child “West West” though? It may roll off the tongue, but it’s a bit repetitive, no?
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was told by sources that the couple is looking for a more “traditional” name. It’ll be interesting to see what Kim and Kanye have in mind for baby No. 2. Will their baby’s name start with the letter “K”? Fans will just have to wait and see.
Kardashian and West are also looking to their family for inspiration. Their late parents, Robert Kardashian and Donda West, are possible name candidates, although the baby’s sex hasn’t been revealed yet. That doesn’t mean that they’re not placing bets on what the sex of their next child will be. An alleged source told TMZ that Kardashian and West are hoping to have a son this time around.
With Kardashian and West’s baby due in December, they have plenty of time to think about a name. Maybe they’ll go the seasonal or royal route. The holidays could also help inspire Kardashian and West to come up with a name for baby No. 2.
Kim Kardashian took to Twitter on Monday morning to wish Kanye West a happy birthday. She hopped onto the social networking site to write, “Happy Birthday 2my best friend in the entire world! U R the most amazing husband &dad! U inspire me every single day.”
Kim followed up her previous messages with some sweet tweets and some silly jokes.
“You make all of your dreams reality & it’s fascinating to be by your side & watching it all happen! You have a heart of gold! Have the best birthday ever! #SWISH”
In case you didn’t know, Kanye West started the hashtag #SWISH when he showed his adoration for his wife on Twitter. In a series of tweets, he remarked how lucky he was to be married to Kim Kardashian. West also shared several nude photos of the star on the social networking site. He previously announced on May 3 that he’s changing the name of his upcoming album to SWISH.
