‘The Bachelorette’ Spoilers Week 5: Nick Gets A Rose, Shawn Gets Lucky, One Guy Ditches Kaitlyn
The Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe heads to San Antonio, Texas, with 12 remaining guys on Week 5 (June 15), including newcomer Nick Viall. With one group date and two one-on-one dates, fans can expect the drama to heat up as the guys try to impress Kaitlyn and avoid elimination.
According to Reality Steve’s spoilers, two guys will be sent home at the rose ceremony, but a third will leave on his own before Kaitlyn starts handing out roses. In ABC’s promo for Season 11 (watch the video below), Ian Thomson questions Kaitlyn’s intentions with the guys and leaves after suggesting she is not on the show for the right reasons.
“I don’t question his intentions, I question your intentions. I feel like you’re here to make out with a bunch of dudes on TV.”
Shawn Booth, who received the first impression rose this season, finally scores a one-on-one date this week. He has steered clear of the drama so far this season but did seem anxious when Nick arrived on the scene in NYC on Week 4. Despite Kaitlyn’s over-the-top attraction to Nick, she enjoys a kayaking date with Shawn that ends with dinner and fireworks — and lots of kissing, of course. Shawn gets a rose and is rumored to make it to the final rose ceremony.

Viewers will see a second one-on-one date on Week 5 when Kaitlyn and Ben Higgins take part in a two-stepping dance competition. Fan photos taken on the date and shared on Twitter show the couple kissing (surprise!) in the back of a pickup truck. Spoilers indicate that they enjoy dinner together and Ben gets a rose.

The remaining 10 guys will take part in a group date in San Antonio that is similar to dates on past seasons. Nick, JJ, Ian, Justin, Tanner, Joshua, Jared, Joe, Ben, and Chris have to write a song for Kaitlyn and perform it wearing a mariachi outfit. Of course, Nick goes all out and serenades Kaitlyn on a balcony and wins the group date rose.

Justin Reich and Joshua Albers are eliminated at the rose ceremony, but expect to see both of them on Bachelor in Paradise this summer.
Nine guys remain at the end of Week 5, and they will all travel outside of the country for the first time this season. Week 6 (June 22) brings drama in Dublin, Ireland, with three eliminations and a steamy one-on-one date for Kaitlyn and Nick.
