Salma Hayek Stuns In Low-Cut Dress To Accept ‘Hotness’ Award

Saturday night at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards, Salma Hayek proved she is as gorgeous as ever when she was given the Decade of Hotness award.

At the event, Hayek wore a tight black dress with a very deep neckline that left little to the imagination. Hayek was asked how she felt about being given an honor based solely on looks.

“When you start you’re like, No, I want them to see me for my talent, and know me as an actress. Now?! They want to give me a Decade of Hotness — I’m like, ‘Bring it on!’ You really like to be ‘hot’ after you’re 40.”

The world’s first real glimpse at the alluring actress came in 1995 in the movie Desperado. Hayek starred in the movie with Antonio Banderas. Salma remembers reading the reviews from that movie and thinking that she was a horrible actress.

“My English was worse than now and I read the reviews that, ‘Salma Hayek was a bombshell,’ and to me this means that I was terrible, that I had bombed! Everyone told me, ‘No, no, it means that you’re great, that you’re sexy!’ And [I was like], ‘That’s it? They didn’t talk about my acting?”

Salma still has the bombshell look going for her. Hayek gives some interesting insight as to what she thinks makes a person “hot.”

“You know what makes you ‘hot’? When you have the hots for someone. When you like somebody it comes out of you, almost naturally, and you’re motivated. Love motivates you.”

She must really be in love. Hayek married François-Henri Pinault in 2009 and they share a daughter.

At 48-years-old, Salma does not look like the hands of time will be slowing her down anytime soon.

The Guys Choice Awards will air on June 18 at 9 p.m. ET. Terrence Howard and Taraji P Henson will be hosting the show. Other awards to be given out include “Guy of the Year” and “Our New Girlfriend.”
