Ashley Salter Joins Jade Roper And Juelia Kinney On ‘Bachelor In Paradise’

Another woman from Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor has joined the Bachelor in Paradise season 2 cast. On Saturday, the franchise’s creator and producer, Mike Fleiss, confirmed that viewers will see Ashley Salter on the upcoming season.

In response to a viewer who asked what’s going on with Ashley during filming, Mike replied that she got the first kiss.

Ashley apparently wasn’t the only person who got a kiss on the first night of filming. Mike also tweeted that there were multiple make-out sessions.

Despite not making it very far with Chris Soules, Ashley Salter made quite the impression thanks to her frequent incoherent ramblings and love of wandering around by herself. Her antics certainly amused host Chris Harrison. During the Women Tell All special, he asked her whether she was just faking her weirdness for the cameras. Ashley explained that she can’t help but be silly when cameras are filming. Chris then begged her to go on the spin-off show.

“I’m probably overstepping my boundaries a bit, I probably shouldn’t be doing this, but will you please join us on Bachelor in Paradise? I’m begging you.”

Ashley kept Chris, the audience and viewers guessing. “It’s so weird. Just that we’re on TV,” she said.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Mike previously revealed that filming for the second season started last week in Mexico. He also revealed that Jade Roper and Juelia Kinney are part of the cast.

Will viewers also see Ashley Iaconetti and Kelsey Poe have another face-off in Mexico? In an interview with AfterBuzz TV in March 2015, Chris Harrison said that he would love to see Ashley I. and Kelsey on the spin-off, as well as from older seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

“I’d like to see some older people come back as well. I kind of like it when they’re mixed in… like we did with Michelle Money who was from years ago. I would love to see Ashley I. and Kelsey would be great… there’s a lot of friends out there who I would like to see find love.”

Viewers likely won’t see Michelle Money, who left season 1 of the spin-off coupled up with Cody Sattler but then split from him afterwards, competing on the show again. In early March, she said that she would rather be on the show in some other capacity.

The other couple who left Bachelor in Paradise season 1 in love, Lacy Faddoul and Marcus Grodd, seem to still be doing well. Last Tuesday, Marcus tweeted a photo of Lacy and another friend at dinner. Perhaps they’ll make an appearance on the spin-off to give the contestants advice on finding and staying with the one?
