Samsung Galaxy Nexus Coming To Sprint On April 22?

It was expected that Sprint would hold off on releasing its Samsung Galaxy Nexus model until it finished getting its LTE network off the ground later this year, but it looks like the carrier is planning to launch the Samsung Galaxy Nexus sooner than we thought.

Engadget is reporting that Sprint has begun training its employees in preparation for the imminent launch of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on its network, with employees being versed in the benefits of the handset itself, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Google Wallet.

The site also managed to get a hold of the full slide of the employee training material for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and, interestingly, the slide says that all Sprint handsets will be released with the LTE feature turned off, as Sprint’s network isn’t quite ready yet. The functionality will apparently be turned on at a later date.

If that’s not enough evidence to convince you that Sprint’s launch of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is imminent, The Verge got their hands on an internal Walmart document that clearly and plainly states that the device is expected to launch on April 22. After cross-checking other release dates on the document, the site concluded that the launch date is likely legit.

Sprint has yet to officially announce a release date for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, but if all of this new evidence is any indication, we likely won’t be waiting too long before we hear an official word.

Do you like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus? Which carrier would you go with?
