How Far Does Jared Haibon Make It On ‘The Bachelorette’ With Kaitlyn Bristowe? [Spoilers]
Who is Bachelorette contestant Jared Haibon, and how far does he make it with Kaitlyn Bristowe? The 26-year-old restaurant manager from Warwick, Rhode Island scores a romantic one-on-one date on Week 4, making him a Season 11 frontrunner, but the untimely arrival of Nick Viall on Monday night’s show may make the quest for the final rose a bit tougher for Jared.
According to the Providence Journal, Jared is the manager of the Oyster Bar in Providence and studied acting at the John Casablancas Modeling and Career Center, although his resume on Explore Talent was taken down shortly before the Bachelorette premiere aired in May.
Jared’s bio on ABC states that he admires his father for being hard working and genuine, and has volunteered at a summer camp for children with cancer for the past six years. If Kaitlyn is looking for a guy with a big heart, Jared certainly sounds like a great catch.
On the season premiere, Jared introduced himself to both Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson as the “Love Man” and has been trying to win Kaitlyn’s heart since then. Although he suffered an injury on the boxing group date (Week 2), he snuck a kiss with the Bachelorette despite doctor’s orders.

Kaitlyn’s one-on-one date with Jared (Week 4) will have viewers thinking that he will be a contender for the final rose this season. The romantic date includes a helicopter ride over New York City and dinner at the MET Museum — Jared gets decked out in a tux and Kaitlyn looks stunning in a gorgeous gown. According to ABC, (video preview below) they will hop in a limo after dinner after getting a mysterious note from host Chris Harrison. Where they go is unknown, but the date goes well — Kaitlyn gives Jared a rose.
According to Reality Steve‘s spoilers, Jared heads to San Antonio (Week 5) with the remaining 12 guys where he will get picked for a group date. After performing in mariachi outfits for Kaitlyn, Nick Viall scores the group date rose, but Jared makes it another week and gets to travel to Dublin, Ireland (Week 6) for another group date.
Unfortunately, Jared won’t make it to the final rose ceremony, or the preceding overnights and hometown dates. Spoilers indicate that he goes on one more one-on-one date — a concert by the Cranberries — on Week 7 (filmed in Killarny, Ireland), but Kaitlyn will send him home at the rose ceremony.
