Zayn Malik Goes Green, Snuggles Up To Fiancée Perrie Edwards
Zayn Malik has gone green… literally. The former One Direction singer lit the internet on fire when he appeared with a buzz cut and nose ring at his first official appearance at the 2015 Asian Awards since leaving the boy band. Now it looks like Zayn is shocking fans again with his new hair color.
Zayn Malik is just acting like the “normal 22-year-old” he wanted to be upon leaving One Direction. The singer decided to dye his hair neon green. Zayn Malik took to Instagram to reveal his shocking new look on Saturday, June 6. Fans have been comparing him to everyone from the Joker to Kermit the Frog.
Zayn and his fiancée, Perrie Edwards, both shared the shocking new photo on Instagram. Fans were beside themselves when they saw Zayn’s new hair color. Some wondered if the photo was edited in any way, but it turns out that it’s for real. Zayn even included the hashtag #GreenHairDontCare, which probably took off on social media afterwards.
In the photo, Malik has his arm around Edwards as he gives a smirk to whoever’s looking at him. Malik also wears a black letterman jacket and a white T-shirt that shows off some of his tattoos. As for Edwards, she snuggles into Malik’s shoulder as she wears a gray chunky knit sweater. Several reports claim that Edwards looks “embarrassed” by Malik’s new hair color, even though she shared the same photo.
The Little Mix singer was also seen wearing her engagement ring after been spotted without it for three weeks. Perrie claimed that the real reason she hasn’t been wearing the ring was because it was getting cleaned. Zayn’s famous fiancée also revealed that she would love to work with him on new music in the near future.
As for Liam Payne, he’s enjoying having to sing Zayn Malik’s parts while on tour. The One Direction star revealed to Capital FM Summertime Ball that he’s having a good time filling in for the heartthrob.
“Obviously he’s got a great voice. But his parts are fun to sing. I like doing all the high bits.”
This comes after the news that fans booed Zayn Malik’s presence at one of One Direction’s concerts. The boy band performed in the UK for the first time without Malik by their side. When Malik appeared on screen in an old video, fans reportedly booed the singer. One Direction now claims that they didn’t hear the fans boo the dearly departed singer.
Louis Tomlinson said, “It’s the first we heard of it, no.”
Liam Payne jumped in, “I don’t think that’s true, if I’m honest.”
