Montel: Duggars Interview Shocking Revelations Slammed By Celebs On Twitter As Josh’s Sisters Defend ’19 Kids’ Parents

Montel Williams is slamming the Duggars, who revealed the details of their oldest son Josh’s alleged child molestation in an interview with Fox host Megyn Kelly. Montel, along with many social media observers, are criticizing 19 Kids and Counting parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar even as Josh’s sisters Jessa and Jill Duggar are defending their brother.

Williams, who previously attacked the Duggars for hiding the reports that Josh molested five underage girls, including his sisters, termed the 19 Kids and Counting parents as hypocritical and sinister, reported the Daily Mail.

“They are in denial,” declared Montel. “There is something very sinister beneath the surface.”

Moreover, with regard to the parents’ repeated statements that their daughters primarily were sleeping and so were “unaware” of Josh’s touching them inappropriately, Williams slammed the Duggar parents for being fake.

“Nothing about these people is real. Nothing about these people isn’t hypocritical,” added Montel.

As the Inquisitr reported, Josh Duggar and his wife, Anna Duggar, both shared cryptic quotes on social media before the public outcry about his alleged child molestation.

Anna, who revealed that Josh had confessed to her two years before his proposal, shared a quote about forgiveness, below.

But even as Josh and Anna shared quotes on social media, Montel wasn’t alone in slamming the family as Twitter blew up during and after the Duggars’ interview, reported USA Today.

Now 27, Josh revealed what he did when he was 14, said Michelle and Jim Bob. Four of his victims were his sisters, and social media slammed the parents for refuting remarks that Josh is a pedophile.

Many of those on Twitter who attacked the 19 Kids parents were, like Montel, celebrities themselves.

“You abused 4 of your sisters & another young girl, Josh? Great! We’ll make you a TV star!’ #TheDisgustingDuggars,” wrote Piers Morgan.

“Molesting a child isn’t a “mistake” it’s a crime. To call it anything else is minimizing & unfair to victims…#DuggarInterview,” tweeted Mario Lopez.

“They are trying to justify themselves justifying incest and sexual abuse,” posted Lee Radziwill.

Ironically, Josh posted a quote about doing right on Instagram only three weeks ago.

However, Josh Duggar’s sisters are defending him, reported People.

Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard revealed that they had been molested and were upset when they discovered that the news had become national headlines.

“We are victims, they can’t do this to us,” said Jill.

Jessa blamed the system for revealing the facts of the case.

“The system that was set up to protect kids, both those who make stupid mistakes or have problems like this in their life and the ones that are affected by those choices. It’s greatly failed.”

However, the 22-year-old also defended Josh against charges that he is a rapist, child molester, or pedophile.

“I’m like, that is so overboard and a lie really,” said Jessa. “I mean, people get mad at me for saying that but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”
