Ellie Goulding Launches MAC Cosmetics Line, Claims She Set Up Taylor Swift And Calvin Harris
Ellie Goulding has her own MAC Cosmetics line. The “Love Me Like You Do” singer is releasing a limited edition collection with the major beauty brand.
Ellie Goulding’s six-piece MAC Cosmetics collection includes nude lipsticks, bronzer and blush duo, champagne-colored lip gloss, faux eyelashes, and a natural eyeshadow palette, according to Radio.com.
MAC Cosmetics has already teased Ellie Goulding’s collection on their Instagram page. They included the following caption.
“Rise up, sing out and shine! Our upcoming collaboration with pop’s most radiant singer-songwriter, @elliegoulding, makes its debut later this year!”
Ellie Goulding even shared a gorgeous photo of herself on Instagram. She included the following caption.
“Oi oi SO excited to finally share what I’ve been working on with @MACcosmetics!!! #MACEllieGoulding drops in Dec/Jan.”
That’s right. Fans will have to wait until the holiday season to check out the Mac x Ellie Goulding collection.
The British singer is already creating controversy with her collection. She tweeted about her new collection with the beauty brand and noted that it was only for “real women,” which ticked off fashion blogger Leanne Woodfull. Ellie has already deleted her tweets, but screenshots were already shared by a fan who seemed to have sided with the singer.

Ellie Goulding is also taking credit for having set up Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris. The singer revealed to the British tabloid the Sun as to why the couple is perfect for each other.
“I did play matchmaker, that’s true. Calvin is a really great mate and he’s so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love. I thought, ‘They’re both really awesome and both really tall. They’re brilliant together.'”
TMZ last noted that it was the girl group Haim who set up Swift and Harris. The sisters are apparently good friends of both artists. Goulding’s revelation about setting up Swift and Harris comes as a shock to fans.
Ellie Goulding has been making her share of headlines lately. The singer was also seen partying with Taylor’s arch nemesis Katy Perry over the past weekend. Ellie, who was seemingly intoxicated at the time, shared the photo on Instagram. Fans from both sides had a meltdown and then the singer removed the photo. At a recent event, Ellie revealed that the reason why she deleted the photo was because it was unflattering.
Goulding’s fans still don’t believe her. Her split second decision makes the singer look odd, especially since it’s rumored that Swift and Perry are in a feud. After all, Swift wrote “Bad Blood” about the “Dark Horse” singer who stole her backup dancers and her ex-boyfriend, John Mayer.
