Stephanie March Denies Flying ‘Cheater’ Banner As Divorce Drama With Bobby Flay Heats Up

Stephanie March denies that she was behind a giant banner flown over ex Bobby Flay’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star unveiling, claiming the Food Network star is a cheater, but the act is still a sign of the ever-increasing divorce drama between the couple.

On Tuesday, Flay’s celebration was interrupted by a plane flying overhead with a sign that read “cheater.” Flay has been accused of cheating on his wife, and many believed the Law & Order: SVU star was the one responsible for it.

But Stephanie March denied any involvement.

“Stephanie is absolutely not behind [this],” her attorney Deborah Lans told E! News in a statement.

The incident represented the latest bit of divorce drama between Bobby Flay and Stephanie March. Around the time that Flay filed for divorce in April, rumors began circulating that he had cheated on March with his assistant.

In denying the rumors, Flay also seemed to call out March for dragging his name through the mud.

“We will continue to refrain from responding to the continued efforts by certain parties to spread rumors and innuendo,” Flay’s rep told E! News. “This specific allegation was in a letter sent from one attorney in this case to the other. It was written and then leaked specifically to try to insert this story into the press, and that’s unfortunate. Even more unfortunate is that all of this is being done in order to renegotiate a pre-nuptial agreement that was agreed to over a decade ago and never amended during the marriage.”

Flay took it even further. Stephanie March is reportedly trying to invalidate the couple’s prenup agreement, claiming that she has been plagued by health woes and unable to work, so the agreement would cause her financial hardship. Flay attacked the argument, claiming it was a botched breast enlargement that caused the health problems.

TMZ explained Flay’s position.

“Bobby has responded to Stephanie’s argument, but he got surprisingly detailed, saying the infections were the result of breast enhancement surgery. It’s pretty clear the point he’s making is that Stephanie’s problems are her own doing… choosing to go under the knife for the sake of vanity.

“Stephanie also took a shot at Bobby, saying revelations of his alleged infidelity have compromised her health and mental state.”

Stephanie March has also claimed that she is largely responsible for Bobby Flay’s success, saying she was instrumental in helping put together the layout and menu for his popular restaurant.
