Teresa Giudice Granted Early Release From Prison: ‘RHONJ’ Will Return Home In Early December

Teresa Giudice will reportedly be out of prison sooner than previously thought. According to a June 4 report by NorthJersey.com, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star will be released from custody in six short months.

“[Teresa Giudice] will be released from Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in early December, and will immediately begin home confinement to serve out the remainder of her sentence.”

Teresa Giudice entered prison on January 5, 2015, and was initially given a release date of February 5, 2016. However, now that she’s served several months behind bars and done so on good terms, her release date has been moved up.

Teresa Giudice had just wrapped the sixth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey when she and husband Joe were sentenced to time behind bars for crimes of bank and wire fraud. When discussions regarding the show’s upcoming seventh season began, fans wondered if Teresa Giudice would be included.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, bringing Teresa Giudice back to the series following her admission of fraud has been a major concern for Bravo producers. While the reality star has been with the series since its start and been good for ratings, producers are unsure of how fans will react now that she is an official criminal.

“[Teresa Giudice]’s fan base has dropped significantly and masses have turned on her,” a source revealed to Real Mr. Housewife last month. “She’s not what she first appeared to be when coming on the show.”

“Conversations have swirled about [Bravo producers]’s fear that she will be a mellowed out Teresa. There will be no more over the top behavior, no more table flipping… Basically, she’s lost her aggressive behavior, her over the top lifestyle, and will ultimately lose her husband to the federal prison system- it simply won’t be the same Teresa.

“Ratings plummeted last season. What we saw was a mellowed out Teresa and the fans had no interest in it. Her storylines have always been about bringing other people on the show to do her dirty work to bring her castmates down. Also, upon leaving prison, she will be on probation. This will not allow for any more over the top behaviors or lifestyle for her.”

Teresa Giudice has yet to confirm or deny a possible return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but for most fans, it would be hard to picture the show without her on it.
