Filming for season 6 of Mob Wives has already begun. Earlier on Wednesday, both Renee Graziano and Karen Gravano shared videos that showed off their looks for the new season.
Renee shared a short video that her sister, Jennifer Graziano, first posted. Jennifer, the show’s creator and producer, revealed that today was the first day of filming and that the new season will air in December. In the video, Renee, wearing a skintight black dress, declares that she’s back and jiggles her behind for all to see.
“Mob Wives season 6! That’s right season 6! B**ches I’m back, better than before!”
Karen, who rejoined the show in season 5 after being absent for season 4, also shared a short video from the first day of filming. Karen, who filmed a scene with her daughter and her daughter’s friends, had a strong message for her critics who were hoping that she wasn’t going to return for another season.
“What? You thought I wasn’t coming back this year? Too bad.”
While Drita D’Avanzo and Angela “Big Ang” Raiola have not posted anything yet in regard to filming the sixth season, both have revealed that they are back for another season. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Big Ang said two weeks ago that viewers will see her getting more surgery for her throat cancer and go through recovery in the new season. Drita, meanwhile, pretty much announced her return when she recently publicly asked former cast member Alicia DiMichele to return to the show because she and Big Ang miss her.
The big question is whether Natalie Guercio, who, along with Alicia, was introduced to viewers as one of the “new blood” in season 4, is back on. There have been some reports that producers decided not to have her return. Yet on Natalie’s Twitter bio caption, she states that she’s on “#MobWives Season 4, 5, & 6.” For weeks, she has continually retweeted tweets from fans cheering her return to the show, as well as tweets that state that she’s the only reason to watch the sixth season. She has not shared a filming photo or video, nor has she posted a tweet that outright states whether she’s returning or not.
In an interview with Radar Online in March, Natalie Guercio, who fought with Renee Graziano and Karen Gravano on season 5, said that she’s not sure if she wants to return to Mob Wives.
“Do I want to be on a show that condones domestic violence or be around people who condone domestic violence and talk bad about our law enforcement? I have to really consider that. I also have to consider if I’m going to keep being the target to these women. I am not having a repeat of what I had the past two seasons. I am 32 years old. I am so much younger than all these women, yet they act younger than me. I’ve never in my life witnessed this type of behavior with anyone.”
