Kim Richards Reunion

Beverly Hills Housewife Kim Richards Is Back In Rehab, Brandi Glanville Remains Supportive

Beverly Hills housewife Kim Richards is back in rehab, and while several of her co-stars wrote her off after Season 5, Brandi Glanville remains supportive of the struggling reality star.

On June 3, People Magazine confirmed prior reports, which claimed Richards had reentered treatment following her daughter’s wedding in Mexico last month. Prior to Brooke Brinson’s wedding to Thayer Weiderhorn, Richards was living in a sober facility in Malibu, California, which allowed her to leave the facility to attend the wedding. However, Richards was given a deadline to return to the facility, which she did not meet.

For days after the ceremony, Richards was reportedly MIA. As the rest of the family arrived back to Beverly Hills, Richards remained in Mexico, where she reportedly engaged in an alcohol and pill binge. Then, earlier this week, she reenrolled in rehab at a Pacific Palisades treatment center.

In April, following her drunken arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge, Richards opened up about her relapse, which she admitted took place months prior, during an interview with Dr. Phil. Richards also seemingly admitted the relapse took place before the highly dramatic Season 5 reunion for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aired on Bravo.

“I did have drinks a couple other times over the past few months. It was wine. I was ashamed to say anything at the reunion, embarrassed. I would have loved to say to the girls, ‘You know what, you’re right,’ but the way they were coming at me, they didn’t make it easy.”

According to People Magazine, Glanville is the “one” Beverly Hills housewife who “has been at Richards’ side through all the drama.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Richards’ close friend and Beverly Hills co-star, Brandi Glanville, recently admitted she hadn’t spoke to Richards since she left Los Angeles to attend Brinson’s wedding. Below is what she said during a recent podcast.

“We talked before she left and she was in a good place. I’ve texted her since she’s been gone. I haven’t heard back, and I’m just praying for her … She’s not returning my texts and she always gets back to me. Thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. I don’t want anything bad to happen to her because she’s got a really good heart at the end of the day.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kim Richards has yet to be confirmed for Season 6 by Bravo.
