Rumer Willis Gets Special Tattoo In Honor Of ‘Dancing’ Journey

Rumer Willis has a permanent reminder of her journey to winning the Mirrorball Trophy. The Dancing With the Stars champ revealed new ink on Instagram Tuesday. She honored her DWTS Season 20 victory and all she learned in the process with a stunning tattoo of a couple dancing.

The outfit the woman is wearing seems to resemble one Willis wore during the finale. The woman’s dancing partner is a dark, mystical figure, fittingly covered with stars.

The 26-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore has been very vocal about how Dancing With The Stars changed her life by helping her to learn to love herself again. During the show, she opened up about how she was bullied in her younger years and often compared to her beautiful mother. Earlier in the season, Rumer shared with In Touch that “People were nasty” to her. However, thanks to her loving family and her amazing experience on DWTS, she said she’s “never felt more beautiful.”

“My mom is a stunning woman, and everyone compared me to her. They said I looked like a man and called me ‘potato head.’ People were nasty. I was awkward. I didn’t feel comfortable with how I looked.”

Rumer Willis won’t be retiring her dancing shoes now that the competition is over. As the Inquisitr reports, she’ll be joining the Dancing With the Stars: Live! Perfect Ten tour, along with partner Val Chmerkovskiy, beginning June 13. In a press release for the tour, Rumer said, “I fell in love with dancing, and after winning the show I just didn’t want to stop.” She shared her excitement for the opportunity to perform live for the fans who supported her and Val in the competition.

“Val and I were lucky enough to have incredible fans that supported us throughout the entire show, and they are the reason we won. I can’t wait to meet the fans and perform for them live.”
