Bethenny Frankel Explains Whether She Has Friends: No Nastiness For This Mother

Bethenny Frankel is filming The Real Housewives of New York, but she is trying to balance everything in her life. This single mother is with her daughter several times per week, including every other weekend, it seems. And the weekend when the ladies were heading to the Berkshires just happened to be the weekend where she had her child.

Bethenny Frankel always puts her daughter first, but she had been criticized for not spending enough time with her co-stars. So, Frankel managed to combine them both by renting a limo and bringing her daughter with her.

According to a new Bravo report, Bethenny Frankel is now revealing that she was a little stressed when she arrived Berkshires because she was balancing time with her daughter and the New York women. And as soon as she arrived, the drama started.

“Oh the Berkshires… It really was a crazy time. Finding balance as a new single mom isn’t easy. I constantly felt torn. I was trying to engage with a new group, but my daughter always comes first. I simply wasn’t leaving her for the weekend,” Bethenny Frankel explains, adding, “I booked a limo with blankets and pillows and princess movies and came to the dinner after bedtime. I came from ‘a place of yes,’ and it worked out. That said, I was, as Carole puts it, ‘wound tight’ having tried to pull it all together.”

She was attacked by Ramona Singer, who claimed that Frankel didn’t have any friends, before she even arrived. Once Bethenny arrived, the drama began and she was accused of starting trouble in the Berkshires. But Frankel decided to speak out on the friends comment, saying that she does have friends.

“I have a very small group of best friends that I’ve had for 25 years. I keep it tight and right, and with this nastiness and catty conversation, now we know why. I’m a quality versus quantity person. If you think I’m going to fill a room or my life with girls that look like they’re all my BFFs but wait for them to start gossiping behind my back, you got the wrong one. Ya gotta love Ramona,” Bethenny Frankel reveals about her friendships.

According to the Inquisitr, Bethenny does have time to date. She recently admitted that she had been dating a new man. Frankel does have friends, but she just takes a bit longer to open up.
