Why is Mary-Kate Still Silent?

Mary-Kate Olsen is still the only one not to talk about Heath Ledger’s death (and probably the Oxycotin found on him/in him), and is trying to nab immmunity from prosecution. Since she um, might not get it, she might have just effectively made herself more guilty and (even better) guaranteed that officials with try to pursue a grand-jury subpoena. Michael C. Miller, Olsen’s lawyer, denied that she was hiding anything:

“Despite tabloid speculation, Mary-Kate Olsen had nothing whatsoever to do with the drugs found in Heath Ledger’s home or his body, and she does not know where he obtained them. We have provided the government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger’s death and the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed.”

Mary-Kate obviously doesn’t live by the tattle-to-survive technique. Does that mean she has some pluck? I’m surprised.

This one’s far from over. I’ll continue the mini-speculation, thankyouverymuch. Just too odd.
