Kate Gosselin engaged with a diamond? While the ex-wife of Jon Gosselin and star of reality TV shows such as Kate Plus Eight does have a new ring, she says that the real truth about from whence that sparkler came is very different from the millionaire-boyfriend engagement rumors, reported E News.
When you’re a popular 40-year-old celebrity who is single, romance rumors spread quickly. However, Gosselin herself sparked them this time because she wore a very large, very noticeable diamond on her ring finger. Moreover, her fans were out in full force at the TLC Summer Block Party in Philadelphia.
So when Kate learned that her followers thought she had received a proposal from her millionaire boyfriend Jeff Prescott, she decided it was time to tell the truth by tweeting.
“Fyi: I’m not engaged-not even dating any1.Loved the ring so I put it on myself 4 my bday-Had 2have something abt that # to make me smile #40.”
However, that doesn’t mean that the romance has ended with regard to Prescott. The two are still dating.

But just who is that magical millionaire, and could he really fit comfortably into the Gosselin household?
For years, it appeared that Kate and Jon had a wonderful marriage. With eight adorable children revealed in Jon & Kate Plus 8, the world got to know her twins Cara and Madelyn (now 14) and sextuplets Aaden, Collin, and Joel, and daughters, Leah, Alexis, and Hannah (now 11).
The Gosselins were married from 1999 to 2009, reported the Daily Mail. And although Kate initially was busy managing life without Jon, she’s been dating Jeff since the fall.
Co-founder of Dreamstine, Jeff has three children, so that he does have fathering experience.
But although Prescott and Gosselin have known each other casually for months, Kate has been adamant that she’s too busy with her children and career to have a true romance, as the Inquisitr reported.
At the same time, she confessed that she wished their children had a true male role model, making it clear that for her, Jon Gosselin doesn’t fulfill that role.
“I would love to date, but I don’t have time to date. I don’t know that I really have time to think about [what I want in a man]. Our obvious issue [is] we’re a family people have heard of. It’s that publicity piece. There’s eight kids [and] it’s really loud and stressful in my house. I mean, anybody that can kind of work through all that, you know, that’s a lot of gates there they gotta get through. I don’t have a lot of time to be out there searching for someone, so I want to do it right and I would love for them to have that male role model. It is lacking.”
