Caitlyn Jenner Looks Just Like Jessica Lange According To Twitter

Caitlyn Jenner, Bruce Jenner’s new female identity, was revealed to the world Monday in a glamorous photo on the cover of Vanity Fair. She also announced her arrival with a new Twitter account, which as Inquisitr reports, reached one million followers faster than anyone in history.

It wasn’t long before social media users concluded that Caitlyn looks a lot like Jessica Lange. Both ladies were trending on Twitter at the same time due to all the chatter. According to the Daily Beast, Lange had no idea. They were interviewing her by phone for a separate story when they broke the news about the comparisons and that she was trending on Twitter because of them. Jessica Lange was flattered to be compared to Caitlyn Jenner, saying she hadn’t even seen the photo yet. However, the Oscar winning actress had no clue what trending on Twitter meant.

“Oh really? That’s so wonderful. Well now I’m going to have to look for that picture. Trending on Twitter because Caitlyn Jenner on the cover—you see I don’t do any of this stuff, the Internet. So I have no clue when people use this terminology. I have to repeat it to understand.”

After a lesson from Daily Beast on what it meant to be trending on Twitter and why she was currently was, she replied, “Alright. That’s an interesting bit of information.”

The 22-page Vanity Fair feature with Jenner includes photos by Annie Leibovitz and an interview by “Friday Night Lights author Buzz Bissinger.” Caitlyn explains she didn’t do the dramatic reveal for attention.

“This shoot was about my life and who I am as a person. It’s not about the fanfare, it’s not about people cheering in the stadium, it’s not about going down the street and everybody giving you ‘that a boy, Bruce,’ pat on the back, O.K. This is about your life.”

Caitlyn goes on to say she did not want to carry her secret to her deathbed.

“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it. I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.'”

The Vanity Fair issue will hit newsstands June 9 ahead of Jenner’s E! docuseries, which is set to premiere July 27. Fox News reports the four oldest Jenner kids will not participate in the series, despite pleas by both Jenner and the producers. Jenner’s son, Brandon, feels all the other shows they produce “look like a circus.”

Caitlyn Jenner assures while the show is a business, she’s not in it for the money, saying, “I’m doing it to help my soul and help other people.”

Shortly after Caitlyn Jenner’s introduction to the world, it was announced that she will be honored with the Author Ashe Courage Award at the July 15 ESPYs.
