Caitlyn Jenner is here. Bruce Jenner is officially living as a woman and sharing his story with a huge cover story in Vanity Fair. Bruce is now calling himself Caitlyn, has joined Twitter, and is ready to live life as a woman. However, Caitlyn wasn’t always so sure about Bruce’s transition.
Bruce Jenner reveled during his interview with Diane Sawyer that he’s been living a lie his whole life, and hiding secrets from everyone he loves, but tells Vanity Fair that Caitlyn Jenner has no secrets and that she’s free to be herself in this world. However, the transition hasn’t been an easy process.
Us Weekly reports that Caitlyn, who is transitioning from gold medal-winning Olympian Bruce Jenner, said she had a panic attack post-surgery. After coming out of the procedure her first thoughts where “What did I just do? What did I just do to myself?” Upon calling a counselor, Caitlyn Jenner revealed that she was told her reaction was probably induced by pain medication and that second guessing her big decision to have sex change surgery was “human and temporary.”
Since the first photos of Cailyn were revealed on Monday, Jenner has joined Twitter and revealed to fans that she can’t wait to start living life as her new self, and for her supporters to get to know the real person inside of her.
“I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, before debuting as a woman, Bruce Jenner underwent a series of surgeries, including a recent facial surgery to make him look more feminine. Bruce was also allegedly on hormone therapy, got his Adam’s apple shaved down, breast implants, and other smaller procedures before finally having a sex change surgery that turned him in to Caitlyn Jenner for good.
Fans have been very supportive of Bruce/Caitlyn’s journey, as has his family. While not all of Jenner’s children understood the decision to transition, each of them have rallied behind their father calling him brave, beautiful, and a hero. Jenner’s story will likely be one that helps many other transgender people, and now that Caitlyn Jenner has officially made her debut, it’s possible that fans will be seeing a lot more of her out and about in public, as well as on the family’s reality TV series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
