Floyd Mayweather Sent Marriage Proposal In A Text Message?

Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather might be undefeated in the ring, but he reportedly did not do very well when it came to winning back his former fiancée last year.

According to TMZ Sports, Mayweather offered a marriage proposal to Shantel Jackson in April, 2014, that apparently seemed to miss the mark of romance completely.

Recently filed court documents obtained by TMZ Sports shows that Mayweather didn’t even pop the question in person. He reportedly sent his marriage proposal to his former fiancée in a text message.

In an effort to win her over and get engaged for a second time, Mayweather gave her an offer that she did not hesitate to refuse, consisting of Hollywood incentives, counseling, and his own personal demand of her.

“This is what I offer to you. Let’s get married move in together you can go back in forth to L.A and stay at the condo. I promise I will get you in 3 A list movies this year and I’m willing to go to counseling to make us work and you can get the stuff you want and I’m willing to change but I need you to have a better attitude.”

Within the court documents, Shantel Jackson also discussed the aftermath of what happened after Floyd Mayweather saw pictures of her and rapper Nelly spending time together in April, 2014. Shantel claims that Floyd actually threatened her with an intense ultimatum.

“[Floyd] threatened that if I didn’t take down the photo of me and Nelly, he would post ‘naked photos’ of me on social media.”

Floyd Mayweather made headlines last May when he claimed that Shantel Jackson killed their twin babies by getting an abortion. The 38-year-old boxer even posted a sonogram picture along with his now-deleted tweet with that allegation.

Mayweather even opened up about his tweet in a May, 2014, interview with Big Tigger, claiming that Shantel Jackson lied about having a miscarriage.

“I’m human, I reacted out of emotions because I got upset. She telling me that stress from me caused her to have a miscarriage when really she had an abortion.”

Floyd further claimed that he did not react well to the picture of Shantel with Nelly, simply because he had just been intimate with her not long before the picture was taken, along with everything else that Floyd did for her to build her career.

“I tried to help her build her brand, her name. Get her clothing line up there. If she’s your queen you’ve got to uplift her. You [Ms. Jackson] were just with me not too long ago, sexually. Then you’re courtside with some guy? Whether you’re having sex or not, that’s not a good look. Have some dignity, some self-respect.”

The chances of Floyd Mayweather getting another shot with Shantel Jackson seem relatively slim at the moment, especially since Shantel has been officially dating Nelly for quite some time now.
