Kim Kardashian’s Second Baby To Be Named South West?
The good news Kim Kardashian fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. As reported by the Inquisitr, Kim and Kanye West are expecting their second child together. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has been vocal about trying to conceive, but it took months of trying before she became pregnant.
As seen on previous episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians‘ latest season, Kim has been consulting an expert on why it is difficult for her to conceive. Apparently, Kim had a health condition wherein her “placenta grew onto her uterus,” a problem which was making it difficult for her to conceive. In addition, her doctor said that another pregnancy is risky. Kim Kardashian underwent surgery to fix the problem.
Now, news is out that Kim Kardashian, her husband Kanye West, and their baby North will be adding a bundle of joy to their family.
As Buzzfeed reports, the news of Kim’s pregnancy was revealed through a teaser of the next episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.“I just got the blood test back, and I am pregnant!” Kim reveals to her sister Khloe.
Kim also hinted on the exciting news on her Twitter account.

Kim and Kanye’s first child was born on June 15, 2013. While Kim was pregnant, the internet was abuzz on what the child’s name will be. They eventually revealed the name that they chose, North West, after Kim gave birth. The choice they made met mixed reactions from everyone on the internet. Now that Kim is pregnant with her second child, netizens are once again busy suggesting names for the expecting couple. Some popular suggestions include Nine West, Wild West, Mid West, and East West, but according to TIME, majority of Twitter users want the couple to name their baby… you guessed it, South West.

Before Kim had baby North, there were already rumors floating around that the baby would be named North. What started as a rumor became reality. As Kim stated in an interview with GQ in 2013, Anna Wintour and Pharrell Williams had something to do with the final decision.
“It was a rumor in the press and we’d never really considered it seriously, at all, but Kanye and I were having lunch right over there at the table about a year ago and Pharrell came over to us and said ‘Oh my God, are you guys really going to call your daughter North? That is the best name.'”
After the encounter with Pharrell, the couple was approached by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and told them, “North is a genius name.” And that’s how baby North was named.
