Does Nina Dobrev Have A New Secret Love? Sources Say Yes
Everyone wants to know what Nina Dobrev has been up to since leaving The Vampire Diaries, and some say that Ms. Dobrev has been busy with a new love interest. Rumors are fueling fans, as inside sources are linking Nina to 30-year-old Austin Stowell.
Stowell, known for Secret Life of the American Teenager, Dolphin Tale, and Whiplash, has recently been spotted in Ms. Dobrev’s company quite often in recent weeks. The rumors started with this Instagram picture, which features Austin quite prominently. It seems obvious from the pictures that Ms. Dobrev has really been enjoying Stowell’s company.
Just the mere closeness Nina and Austin seem to be sharing in the pictures was enough to get Dobrev’s fans questioning whether there might be something more than friendship between Stowell and Ms. Dobrev.
Rumors that the two were dating resurfaced, when the Indianapolis 500 become the scene for PDA’s between Dobrev and Stowell, causing fans to return to that Instagram picture with questions about the nature of the relationship Nina and Austin share.
Is it serious? Fans of Dobrev want to know.
“Absolutely not,” sources close to Nina say. The former Vampire Diaries actress is just having a good time and enjoying Mr. Stowell’s companionship. Ms. Dobrev is not looking for anything serious. (Wasn’t that what caused the Dobrev-Somerhalder break-up?) In the meantime, Nina is really trying to concentrate on her film career.
“They are having fun hanging out and he is more into her than she is into him. She really is interested in just being friends and hyper focused on her career.”
If nothing else, this news serves as a gentle reminder to fans hoping for a reunion between Nina and Ian Somerhalder that they have each moved on and, in Dobrev’s case, it seems clear she’s enjoying the single life for the time being. It wasn’t long ago that Nina Dobrev broke her silence, regarding the Somerhalder-Reed wedding, taking the opportunity to wish the couple well in the future.
“They look happy and I am happy, and so I don’t see why there should be a problem with that. The drama is in the media, it’s not with us. But of course, we’re on a teen drama show, everyone is going to look for drama… I just ignore it,” Nina said in an interview.
As for news on Ms. Dobrev’s career, there is nothing to report as of this date, but, once Nina Dobrev gets settled in and acclimated to life in Los Angeles, there will surely be opportunities for the young Vampire Diaries actress.
