Ben Affleck Split: Actor Is Reportedly ‘Positioning For A Divorce’
Is actor Ben Affleck looking for divorce attorneys to end his marriage to Jennifer Garner?
According to Radar Online, an inside source claims that the 42-year-old actor has had secret meetings with divorce attorneys to develop an appropriate strategy before they proceed any further with his plans.
“Ben and his team have definitely been engaging divorce attorneys. He’s positioning for a divorce. Right now, it’s just coming up with a strategy and whether or not it makes sense for Ben to do it quietly and jointly so there is no battle, or to do it on his own.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are reportedly separated. However, from the surface, it seems that they are separated solely for professional reasons.
For instance, Jennifer Garner is currently working on the Barry Sonnenfeld-directed film, Nine Lives, in Montreal.

The fact that both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner apparently have been busy with their respective work schedules could very well justify why the two have spent so much time apart.
On the other hand, past reports show that the two did not spend Mother’s Day or Jennifer’s April birthday together either.
Before enjoying a family trip to an ice cream parlor on Thursday, Radar reports that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner had not been spotted together in public for over a month.
The inside source claims that the couple’s closest associates believed that their relationship would end years ago, but then their work schedules picked up and Jennifer became pregnant with their 3-year-old son Samuel.
“No one is surprised [he is talking to attorneys]. They are more surprised they lasted this long.”
Another insider told Radar that Ben Affleck asked Jennifer Garner to release a joint statement about their separation to the public before the couple reaches their 10th wedding anniversary milestone on June 29.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner first started dating each other off-screen back in 2004. The Pearl Harbor and Daredevil co-stars got engaged in April, 2005, and were married two months later.
