Farrah Fawcett was hospitalized in Los Angeles Thursday after her fight with cancer took a turn for the worse.

62 year old Fawcett was first diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006, but went into remission after treatment. Sadly the cancer returned in May 2007, and Fawcett has been seeking treatment, including chemotherapy and embryonic stem-cell treatments since that time.

Partner Ryan O’Neal and son Redmond O’Neal are said to be at her bedside. Radaronline quoted sources as saying the Fawcwett was unconscious, suggesting that she may be close to death’s door.

Fawcett first came to prominence for her role as one of the original Charlies Angels in the TV series of the same name. During the 80′s she appeared in a variety of shows, picking up three Emmy Nominations along the way.
