‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Cast To Be Released Soon, Franchise Creator Hopes Chris Soules And Whitney Bischoff Will Reunite

While Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff are no longer a couple, perhaps some of the other women on Chris’ season of The Bachelor will find love on Bachelor in Paradise? On Friday, the franchise’s creator and producer, Mike Fleiss, tweeted that he will soon release information on the upcoming season’s cast.

Mike also posted several tweets that defended the show and expressed hope for Chris and Whitney.

Season 2 of the spin-off show will premiere on Sunday, August 2. So who can viewers expect on the new season? It’s likely that they’ll see Ashley Salter, whose often-bizarre behavior and ramblings made a big impression early on Chris’ season of The Bachelor. During the Women Tell All special, host Chris Harrison pleaded with Ashley to agree to go on the spin-off, after Ashley explained that she can’t help but be silly when cameras are on her.

“I’m probably overstepping my boundaries a bit, I probably shouldn’t be doing this, but will you please join us on Bachelor in Paradise? I’m begging you.”

Ashley’s response?

“It’s so weird. Just that we’re on TV.”

On the After the Final Rose special, Chris again asked Ashley to agree to go on the spin-off. Ashley continued to keep everyone guessing.”I suppose I might be there…” she replied.

Other women who left a lasting impression on Chris Soules’ Bachelor season and may thus be on the upcoming Bachelor in Paradise season are Carly Waddell, Jade Roeper, Kelsey Poe, and Ashley Iaconetti. In an interview with AfterBuzz TV in March 2015, Chris Harrison talked about who he would like to see on the new season.

“I’d like to see some older people come back as well. I kind of like it when they’re mixed in… like we did with Michelle Money who was from years ago. I would love to see Ashley I. and Kelsey would be great… there’s a lot of friends out there who I would like to see find love.”

Perhaps viewers will also see season 1 alums Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul? The two, who got engaged on the season finale, are still together. The other couple who left the show as a couple, Michelle Money and Cody Sattler, have since broken up.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Marcus actually publicly commented on the news that Chris Soules, whom he became good friends with during their time together on Andi Dorfman’s The Bachelorette, and Whitney Bischoff had broken up. Marcus wished both Chris and Whitney well.
