Jenelle Evans Arrested: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Scores 15th Mugshot, Fought With Nathan Griffith Over New Girlfriend

Jenelle Evans almost has as many mugshots as Michelle Duggar has kids.

According to Hollywood Life, the Teen Mom 2 star posed for her 15th mugshot after turning herself in at the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina police station on May 28. The Teen Mom 2 cameras were on hand to document her mugshot milestone.

Jenelle Evans was wanted for allegedly assaulting her ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith. She was charged with domestic violence, but it wasn’t too hard for the reality show star to get out of jail. Radar Online is reporting that she was released on Thursday morning, and she didn’t have to pay a bond fee.

A source told Hollywood Life that Jenelle Evans got angry at Nathan Griffith because he was refusing to let her see their 11-month-old son Kaiser. She grew even more furious after she found out that Nathan was with another girl — he’s allegedly been telling Jenelle that he wants to get back together with her. Radar Online reports that Jenelle and Nathan tried to avoid speaking to each other after his arrest in March, and it might be a good idea for the couple to go back to not communicating.

According to the Jenelle Evans Twitter PR page, Nathan also stole his ex’s phone. Jenelle retweeted a tweet from the PR page claiming that Nathan tried to run her over with his car, but it looks like that claim has been deleted.

Us Weekly reports that Nathan Griffith was covered with scratch marks and bruises after Jenelle Evans attacked him, but Jenelle’s lawyer, Amy S. Lawrence, said that Nathan doesn’t want his ex to face any “criminal consequences” for what she did. According to Lawrence, Nathan understands that Jenelle is having a tough time accepting that their relationship is likely over for good.

“I think that in her heart she thought that maybe with them breaking up that they would get back together because they have a child together, and I think she’s just very hurt that he has moved on.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Nathan Griffith was arrested on domestic abuse charges back in March. Jenelle Evans alleged that he pinned her to a toilet seat and tried to rip her engagement ring off of her finger. At the time, Nathan told police officers that Jenelle was “always being violent with him,” and he showed them marks from her previous attacks.

Jenelle Evans did a pretty decent job staying out of trouble with the law last year, but 2015 has been rough for the Teen Mom 2 star so far — back in February, she was arrested for driving without a license.

According to Wetpaint, Evans’ earned the first entry on her lengthy rap sheet back in 2010 when she and her boyfriend at the time, Kieffer Delp, were arrested for drug possession and breaking and entering. Since then, she’s been arrested for punching another girl in the face, violating her parole, threatening a former roommate, cyber-stalking a former boss, and possessing various drugs.

Do you think Jenelle Evans will ever get her act together, or will the Teen Mom 2 star’s troubles just get worse now that she knows that she has no chance at winning Nathan Griffith back?
