‘Young And Restless’ Spoilers: Nikki Faces Her Family And Friends In An Intervention

Thursday’s episode of The Young and the Restless is going to be all about Nikki and her struggles with her drinking. An intervention is about to be held and there is sure to be a lot of drama ahead. What Young and Restless spoilers are available for the May 28 episode?

As viewers saw in Wednesday’s show, Neil has put together a plan to confront Nikki about her drinking and subsequent behavior. Everybody has been summoned to the ranch, but as She Knows Soaps shares, Nikki will have some visions or hallucinations first.

Young and Restless spoilers indicate that Nikki will quickly realize that her family and friends have gathered at the ranch to stage an intervention and she seems prepared to bolt. The fake Jack leads her into the room and her grandkids beg her to hear what everybody has to say. While Nikki says she has been drinking a bit, she insists that everybody is making too big a deal of it.

As Celeb Dirty Laundry teases, Neil will point out that he made the same kinds of statements when he was drinking again and it led to the death of Paul and Christine’s baby. Young and Restless spoilers reveal that Nick will point out that Cassie died in an alcohol-related accident and he doesn’t want to see the same thing happen to his mother. Victoria will remind Nikki about the incident that almost injured baby Katie.

Despite the pleas and threats from Nick and Vikki, Nikki is angry and says she feels as if she’s surrounded by jackals. Even the fake Jack will urge Nikki to choose a different path, and Victor says her drinking is affecting the family. Naturally Nikki points out that Victor has done some damage too.

Nikki gets to the point where she has had enough, and Young and Restless spoilers indicate she pulls out some alcohol. Moments later Nikki’s glass falls from her hand and she collapses.

Young and Restless spoilers indicate that next, viewers will see Nikki wandering through the hospital. She sees Nick and Victoria crying and embracing, and they can’t hear her as she talks to them. Soon an orderly pushes a body down the hallway and Nikki realizes it’s her. Next she will be at the cemetery watching the family at her funeral.

At the funeral, Victor will cry over his loneliness without her while Dylan and the others mourn. Nikki will sit next to Victor and it’s then that she will come to grips with what she needs to do.

Young and Restless spoilers reveal that next viewers will see Nikki in rehab with a counselor named Angel, played by Frank Runyeon. He says she’s had a breakthrough and they can help her get the assistance she needs to straighten out her life again.

Is this the end of Nikki’s drinking? Some suspect that as the fake Jack and Victor drama plays out there could be more family strife to come. Many know that actress Melody Thomas Scott went through a difficult health struggle in her real life last winter, though she is seemingly doing better now. Will Scott be off the canvas for a while now though as her character works through rehab? It seems that may be the case.

It’s going to be a wild summer as Jack returns to Genoa City and the deception from fake Jack and Victor is revealed. New episodes of The Young and the Restless air weekdays on CBS.
