Karrueche Tran Shares Fake Bloody Lip Photo, Shows Some Love For Rihanna
Karrueche Tran took things a little too far when she posted a bloody lip photo on Instagram. In fact, it has some of Chris Brown’s fans outraged about the photo.
It all started on Tuesday when Tran, 27, shared a close-up photo of a cut on her mouth. It didn’t help matters when she didn’t provide any context to the photo other than the words “Rough day in Chicago.” It was later found out that Tran’s bloody lip pic was in fact fake.
Her alleged bloody lip was really makeup applied during a video shoot she did in Illinois, according to a TMZ report. Karrueche is going to take on the role of a “Street Fighter” type of character. Chris Brown’s fans still didn’t take kindly to her photo. They accused his ex-girlfriend of making people believe that he had something to do with it.
An alleged insider told HollywoodLife that Tran didn’t intend to stir drama with her bloody lip pic.
“First and foremost, Karrueche didn’t say, imply, or suggest that her lip had anything to do with anyone in particular. The way her lip looks is related to her work. That’s it and that’s all. The fact that anyone would think it’s something more than what it really is, deeply bothers her.”
Karrueche didn’t want her followers – or anyone – to assume that Chris gave her the bloody lip. The insider went on to say that she wanted to share a photo from the set, and didn’t want people to assume otherwise.
“In a country that prides itself on freedom, including freedom of speech, she’s absolutely appalled she’s getting such backlash and hatred after posting the pic. Her sole intention was to invite her followers inside her hectic work day.”
Chris Brown has been reported to be a notorious abuser with anger issues.
Chris abused ex-girlfriend Rihanna prior to the Grammy Awards in 2009. Karrueche and Chris split in March of this year, after it was revealed that he had a secret baby with another woman during their relationship. Karrueche also found herself involved with more Chris Brown drama when he threatened Tyson Beckford after the male model shared a photo with her.
As for Tran, she doesn’t have any bad blood with Rihanna. During her interview with BigBoyTV, she revealed that she doesn’t have any hard feelings for the singer. It was rumored that Brown was in a love triangle with both Tran and Rihanna.
“No, not at all. We just dated the same guy and that’s kind of what it is. It’s always a competition thing and they compare us but she is Rihanna. She’s a pop star and she’s beautiful she makes great music and I’m just me and I’m growing and working into myself. You can’t really compare us we’re two completely different girls.”
What about her alleged date with Tyson Beckford? The beauty claims that she’s “100% single” at the moment, despite the rumors. In fact, she just wants to focus on both her modeling and acting career.
“It’s hard…I make it so we don’t have to cross paths so it’s not awkward but I do get on Instagram and there’s people tagging us or I’ll hear a song, you know, but I kind of just block it out.”
