Meek Mill And Nicki Minaj’s Ex, Safaree Samuels, At War Over Ex-Girlfriends?
Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj may have finally spoken out against rumors that suggested they were on the fast track to get married, however, is Minaj’s ex, Safaree Samuels, trying to shade his ex-girlfriend of nearly twelve years and her beau Mill? Sources allege that Samuels may be after Meek Mill’s former flame, K. Michelle, after splitting from the “Anaconda” rapper.
While K. Michelle and Meek Mill never publicly confirmed their relationship status before reportedly calling it quits last year, the songstress has previously confirmed that she and Mill were involved in a more-than-friends type of romance that ended abruptly towards the end of 2014, around the time that Samuels and Minaj called it quits after nearly twelve years of dating.
TMZ reports that earlier this year, rumors began circulating around the alleged couple after Samuels reportedly sent the singer a bouquet of flowers following her sinus surgery in February, to which Michelle thanked the rapper by teasing him with a video of herself twerking to his track, “Burner.”
Now, it appears Samuels is returning the favor to Meek Mill’s ex, posting a video of himself rapping over an instrumental version of K. Michelle’s track, “Going Under,” in which he gushes over her personality and rear-end, Design and Trend confirms.
“Yeah, your a** is on another level, magnitude / I’m not a surgeon or a doctor but I play the part / Please sign me up ’cause I’m really trying to buy a heart.”
The video was posted to Samuels’ personal Instagram account, instantly igniting rumors that he may be trying to get back at Mill for dating Minaj so swiftly after their breakup.
Only one day after Samuels upped his flirting game with Mill’s rumored ex, both he and Michelle were spotted out for a lunch date together, despite rumors that connected the rapper to model Sophia Body, S2S Magazine reports.
The news comes on the heels of reports that confirm that Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj are not engaged, despite months of rumors that suggested otherwise after the “Only” rapper was seen donning a $500,000 fancy yellow diamond ring on her engagement finger.
The revelation came from the June/July cover story of The Fader, where Mill denied the claims personally.
“[Our relationship] is definitely real, but it ain’t really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.”
Meek Mill’s mentor, T.I., also spoke with the Philly rapper for his interview with the magazine, requesting that he clarify the nature of his romance with Minaj.
“I ain’t engaged,” Meek Mill told his mentor, however, T.I. wasn’t satisfied with his answer, E! Online confirms.
“You never asked her, ‘Will you be my girlfriend?’ But she is your girlfriend. You may not have asked her, ‘Will you marry me?’ But you’re engaged…I’ve said my part, as long as you know what’s going on.”
