Kyle Richards And Kathy Hilton Attend Nicky Hilton’s Bridal Shower, Kim Richards Seemingly A No-Show

Kyle Richards is fully immersed in wedding season. After attending one niece’s wedding in Cabo, Mexico, on Saturday, that of her sister Kim Richards’ oldest daughter Brooke Brinson, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was back in Beverly Hills Tuesday attending a bridal shower for another niece.

The bridal shower was actually for Nicky Hilton, who got engaged to James Rothschild last fall. Nicky’s mom and Kyle’s older sister, Kathy Hilton, posted photos of the beautiful shower. One group photo shows that Kyle’s oldest daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, and Kim Richards’ middle daughter, Whitney Davis, also made the trek from Cabo back to Beverly Hills in time for the shower.

Kathy also posted a photo of herself, Nicky, and Kyle posing behind a fairy tale photo board at the fairy tale-themed shower.

One person who was noticeably absent from Nicky’s bridal shower was her older sister, Paris Hilton. On Monday, Paris tweeted that she was in Ibiza for work. Another person who seemingly missed the event is Kim. Kim may have missed the special day because she reported back to rehab after her daughter’s wedding.

Yet according to TMZ, Kim Richards may actually be hiding from her family. TMZ reported on Tuesday morning that Kim had a meltdown at Brooke’s wedding in Cabo, with multiple sources telling them that Kim was either under the influence of drugs or alcohol,. According to the sources, while no one saw her take or drink anything, people did see her, right after the wedding, say “horribly nasty things” to Brooke, “cursing out the groom’s family” and acting “generally belligerent.” The site reported that Brooke has vowed to never speak to her mom again.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Paris Hilton posted a short video clip of Kim making a toast at her daughter’s wedding. The video shows Kim, whose sobriety was a central storyline on Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, coherent and seemingly sober as she talks about how happy she is for Brooke and her groom.

TMZ additionally reported that the sober coach from the rehab facility who accompanied Kim to the wedding quit immediately and left the country. Kim, who was due to return back to the rehab facility on Monday, is reportedly still in Mexico.

The photos of Kathy Hilton and Kyle Richards seem to show them carefree and happy. Could they just be putting on happy faces for the sake of Nicky Hilton, despite what happened with Kim Richards over the weekend?
