Bethenny Frankel On Million-Dollar Success: ‘I Do Understand What Women Want’


Bethenny Frankel may be sharing her personal life on The Real Housewives of New York, but there is a big part of Frankel that isn’t on the show. Bethenny works hard on her business and will go to meetings and create products. But this isn’t a big storyline on the show. However, this business is an interesting one, because it has made Frankel into a million-dollar woman.

When Bethenny Frankel was filming The Real Housewives of New York years ago, she came up with an idea; a skinny girl’s margarita. It was low in fat and tasted great. Since then, Bethenny has added many products and partnered up with major companies.

According to a new AdWeek report, Bethenny Frankel is now revealing that she is a successful business woman because she fully understands her target audience. Bethenny admits that she knows her target audience, which is why she keeps adding more successful products to her brand.

“I’m not going to do anything that I don’t feel organically connected to,” Bethenny has revealed, adding, “The Skinnygirl Margarita proved one thing, that I do understand what women want.”

And maybe this is the reason why she can add just about any product to her Skinnygirl company and maintain her success. Earlier this year, Frankel announced that she was offering popcorn to her customers, which may have been a big surprise for her fans. However, Orville Redenbacher felt it was a great fit.

“We had been watching Bethenny from afar, and we had been very impressed with what she has been able to accomplish with her shows as well as with the Skinnygirl brand,” said Spencer Fivelson, senior brand manager, Orville Redenbacher’s, adding, “We were looking for a strong strategic partner that could unlock mutual value and introduce the brand to a new segment of consumers, and Skinnygirl was a great opportunity for us to get more targeted and speak to millennial women.”

Even though Bethenny Frankel is back on The Real Housewives of New York, it is very possible that she will leave the show if her presence on the show is causing her sales to drop. In Frankel’s world, business is more important than The Real Housewives of New York. According to the Inquisitr, Bethenny has fought lawsuit after lawsuit since she became a millionaire.

“They know that’s who I am,” Bethenny has said of her return to the show, adding, “If we stop moving product as a result of me being on the show, then I won’t do it.”
