Taylor Armstrong Sits Down With Oprah To Reflect On Russell’s Suicide And New Marriage

Taylor Armstrong left The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills behind a few seasons ago as she wanted to focus on her daughter Kennedy and her new life as a single mother. Taylor had started dating John Bluher at the time, but it was super early in their relationship. Armstrong had no idea where she would live or whether she would keep sharing her life with the world.

But Taylor Armstrong did have a powerful story to tell on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as she was an abused woman. Many people found her story inspiring, and Oprah was one who wanted to follow Taylor on her journey.

According to a new tweet, Taylor Armstrong recently sat down with Oprah to talk about how she has transformed her life after losing her estranged husband, Russell Armstrong, a few years back. Russell had been accused of abusing Taylor in their home in Beverly Hills, and he was concerned about the truth coming out. He committed suicide before Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aired.

“The most Oprah #WhereAreTheyNow interview reminded me of how amazing my husband & Kennedy’s Dad John Bluher is,” Taylor Armstrong revealed on Twitter this week, as she sat down with Oprah to talk about where she is today.

Taylor was the one who found the body hanging in Russell’s home. The two had separated prior to his suicide. But just because Armstrong was no longer living with her estranged husband, didn’t mean that she wasn’t grieving. She later learned that he had left her with millions in debt and Taylor had to seek legal help. It was her lawyer, John Bluher, who ended up being her shoulder to cry on, and her future husband.

And these days, Taylor Armstrong is reflecting on what happened in her marriage that took things to a dark place. While sitting down with Oprah, Taylor remembers the moment she decided that she would leave her marriage behind for the sake of her daughter.

“The final punch from Russell came on my 40th birthday, when he accused me of sleeping with the Chippendales [dancers],” Taylor has revealed during the Oprah interview, adding, “We had been filming an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in Las Vegas at a Chippendales show. He punched me in the face.”

Armstrong panicked when her daughter had to see her in the hospital after having surgery. She had to get her eye reconstructed, as he had punched her right in the face.

“The moment I realized I absolutely had to leave was when they wheeled me down after surgery and my daughter had to see me in the waiting room after having reconstructive surgery on my eye,” Taylor reveals in tears.

Would Armstrong ever return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? It is very possible, if certain conditions are met, according to the Inquisitr.
