Lena Dunham Lingerie: ‘Girls’ Actress Posts Sexy Lingerie Pic, Shows Off Body Confidence

Lena Dunham posed in lingerie for a selfie that is going viral on the internet today. According to People Magazine, the Girls actress shared the sexy snap on Memorial Day, playing on the “freedom” theme of the day. The photo (below) is being referred to “body-positive,” and many are praising Lena for loving her curves, and not being ashamed to share herself with the world in such a way.

She has always been a sort of free bird when it comes to showing off her body, and many feel as though she is an inspiration to women of all different shapes and sizes.

“Queen Lena being the ultimate babe in her Lonely Bonnie Softcup set. We are so glad you exist,” Lonely Lingerie posted as a caption to the same photo on Instagram.

Lena Dunham’s lingerie snap also shows that she has lost some weight. According to Mail Online, Lena has been working out with a trainer, and has been keeping a well-balanced diet in order to improve her overall health. While Lena’s goal may not be to get down to a size 0, she previously said that exercise is helping quell her anxiety — which is super important.

“Promised myself I would not let exercise be the first thing to go by the wayside when I got busy with Girls Season 5 and here is why: it has helped with my anxiety in ways I never dreamed possible. To those struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression: I know it’s mad annoying when people tell you to exercise, and it took me about 16 medicated years to listen. I’m glad I did. It ain’t about the ass, it’s about the brain,” Lena wrote on Instagram last month.

Lena Dunham has gone sans lingerie on Girls, and has been naked plenty of times on the HBO series. When she broke out on to the scene, she was really happy to be the naked “fat chick,” and seemed to carry a positive message about body image with her wherever she went. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Lena has gotten quite a bit of negative criticism for showing off her body, but she has responded perfectly each and every time.

“It put me in the best mood! I just want to be like, my gravestone says, ‘She was a little fat chick and she got it going,'” Lena told David Letterman back in 2013.
