Cristiano Ronaldo Back On Manchester United Transfer Radar

Cristiano Ronaldo is often regarded as one of the greatest soccer players of all time. It comes as no surprise that the Ronaldo is once again a Manchester United transfer target after spending a considerable amount of time at the Old Trafford club.

Cristiano Ronaldo made 292 appearances for Manchester United, and many felt that the Portuguese forward’s exit was too premature, given his stature at the club.

Ronaldo has been subject to speculation ever since the start of last season, on part of Real Madrid’s wariness of the Portuguese forward’s age and his declining sale value. Manchester United, on the other hand, are keen to recapture the glory days of the past, particularly the ones including Ronaldo.

Manchester United, having qualified for the UEFA Champions League, is now able to ambitiously and financially attract some of the brightest stars of soccer, and there is no brighter star than Cristiano Ronaldo. According to reports, plans are already in place to start recruiting players for next season with a bid for Cristiano Ronaldo in place.

“I have talked with every player. Those I think I have to talk to,” the Manchester United manager said.

“The transfer period is a process. I know which players have to go and which players have to come but you never know if they go or if they come because it is dependable on a lot of aspects.”

Manchester United and Real Madrid are currently in negotiations over the fee of Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea, and this has left an opportunity to discuss the availability of Cristiano Ronaldo. Should that fail, the possibility of signing Gareth Bale is also another viable option, as the Manchester club seeks to improve their attacking line-up.

Cristiano Ronaldo has finished the season with a personal best 61 goals. However, Ronaldo and Real Madrid failed to land a team trophy, with Barcelona storming to the league title.

Manchester United has already announced that Colombian striker Radamel Falcao is to return to AS Monaco after a one year spell at the club. Falcao had failed to impress the Manchester United management and will now hold out for an offer from another top European club. The club have already secured the signing of Dutch international Memphis Depay.
