Byron Allen Calls Obama ‘A White President In Black Face’

Television producer Byron Allen recently discussed his strong opinion about U.S. President Barack Obama.

As seen in the video posted by TMZ, Allen apparently refused to bite his tongue.

Perhaps one of the most shocking statements made during the controversial rant was when Byron Allen made a comment about Obama being a “white president” with a very distinct difference.

“President Obama is, at this point, a white president in black face. Black America would have done much better with a white president. Look at the numbers. President Obama, you have let us down tremendously. You have let us down.”

The 54-year-old chairman of Entertainment Studios began his controversial statement in the video by targeting President Obama’s comments about the young men involved in the Baltimore riots last month.

“I’m disappointed that President Obama called those young men out there in Baltimore ‘thugs.’ And, uh…I’m not condoning violence, but I don’t think we should call them thugs because we position them to fail and the system has failed them.”

Allen was referring to the comments that the U.S. president made in reference to the “criminals and thugs who tore up the place” during the Baltimore riots.

USA Today reported that President Obama did not regret using that word in reference to the riots. According to spokesman John Earnest, such acts as looting, throwing cinder blocks at police officers, and committing arson were “thuggish acts” and signs of “thuggish behavior” — which is why Obama used that particular word.

Byron Allen apparently does not agree with that line of reasoning, though. According to his statement, identifying them as “thugs” placed them in a position for failure.

Allen’s comments targeting President Obama did not just stop there. He further implied the need for Obama to remember who he is as a black man and as a black president.

“I say to President Obama, you have to remember who you are. Don’t forget who you are. Don’t forget who you are. I have grave concerns about President Obama.”

Byron Allen did not stop there with his comments against Obama. He took it one step further by stating that black people have “fallen further behind” with Barack Obama as the U.S. president than ever before, claiming that “it’s factual.”

“We’re being murdered in the streets… in the courtroom… in the boardroom. You’ve caught the biggest corporations using the ‘n-word.’ You have to stand up at some point.”

Byron Allen concluded his recorded statement by saying that it is okay to be both the President of the United States while also being a black man. Allen then claimed that “it’s human” and that people would respect Obama more if he stopped acting like he was not both.
