‘Bachelorettes’ Kaitlyn Bristowe And Andi Dorfman Stumped By ‘500 Questions’
The Bachelorette may air on the same network as 500 Questions, but if Kaitlyn Bristowe and Andi Dorfman’s Twitter feeds are any indication, they won’t be appearing on the quiz show anytime soon.
Dorfman, an attorney, and Bristowe, a dance instructor, conversed over social media during the premiere of 500 Questions last Wednesday. Dorfman’s high hopes for an entertaining evening were quickly dashed when she couldn’t get any of the questions right. Bristowe made a self-deprecating comment about her own math skills.
Weirdly excited for @500QuestionsABC tonight #nerdalert

If the Bachelorettes are worried about their own intelligence or game show skills, they need not be. HitFix revealed that the show’s contestants are veterans of the television quiz show circuit. One, Ogi Ogas, won $500,000 on Who Wants to be a Millionaire and two others are Jeopardy champions.
500 Questions is a seven-night event on ABC. Contestants win money by answering trivia in a number of categories. If they get three questions wrong in a row, they are eliminated and their challenger takes their place. Yahoo TV noted the game’s several unique elements, such as the “Battle,” where contestants take turns answering the same question with multiple answers, and the “Triple Threat.”
The contestants are also “geniuses,” according to the program, as evidenced by their education or occupation.

Andi and Kaitlyn can bond over more than their lack of game show skills, if the preview for the new Bachelorette season is any indication. Nick Viall, whom Dorfman rejected in favor of Josh Murray, is due to show up to date Kaitlyn. Bristowe recently said thought Viall was with her for the right reasons, and that he’d been given a rough go when he appeared on Andi’s season.
Monday night, viewers can try their hand at trivia with 500 Questions at 8 p.m. and then watch Kaitlyn Bristowe hand out roses on The Bachelorette at 9 p.m. on ABC.
