John Stamos On Olsen Twins’ Update: ‘This Is Not A Money Gig’

Actor John Stamos opened up recently with a few messages of his own in response to the Olsen twins’ decision not to reprise their Full House role.

The 51-year-old actor first re-tweeted an article from the Huffington Post confirming that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will not reprise the role of Michelle Tanner in the upcoming Full House reunion and reboot on Netflix.

Several hours later, Stamos simply posted a hashtag that may have spoken volumes about his feelings on the subject.

Shortly after posting his “heartbroken” hashtag, John Stamos seemed to elaborate by wishing the Olsen twins the best while still keeping Full House fans excited about the highly-anticipated reunion series.

“I understand they’re in a different place and I wish them the best. I promise you will not be disappointed with our reunion and spin-off!!”

Stamos was able to open up a lot more about the topic on his official Facebook page Friday.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen reportedly decided to not join the cast of the Full House spin-off series, Fuller House. The Olsen twins apparently chose to focus on their careers instead.

In addition to working as a producer of the Fuller House series for Netflix, John Stamos is also working on his new FOX television series, Grandfathered. The show will feature John Stamos playing a version of himself that is also a grandfather.
