Montel: Josh Duggar Slammed By Bible-Quoting Williams For Anti-LGBT Attacks After ’19 Kids And Counting’ Scandal

Montel Williams is slamming Josh Duggar after reports that the 19 Kids And Counting reality TV star molested five underage girls. Taking to Twitter to voice his views after learning that Duggar had admitted to molesting the girls when he was a teenager, the media industry mogul made it clear that he was outraged, reported Us Weekly.

Josh has verbally attacked those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT), and now the 58-year-old Montel is describing Duggar’s attacks as hypocritical.

“BREAKING: Josh Duggar, a world class bigot, admits sexually abusing young girls – has consistently stated that LGBT folks r danger to kids,” posted Williams in one of his series of tweets.

Montel also attacked the entire 19 Kids And Counting Duggar family as well as the organization from which Josh has now resigned.

“Sorry, Josh Duggar is a bigot, slimebag. Whole family is, and FRC is a scam. Yup, Gay people are the danger to kids? NOPE, JOSH DUGGAR IS.”

FRC stands for the Family Research Council, for which Josh worked prior to stepping down.

Montel also posted his views on Facebook about Tony Perkins, who is the FRC president.

“Those of you on Twitter know where I stand on 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar. Josh chose his path – he chose to work for a bigot – Tony Perkins and his organization. He chose to make bigoted comments about #lgbt individuals being dangers to kids – he chose to do ALL OF THOSE THINGS while hiding the fact his father had essentially covered up Josh having, by his own admission, molested his sisters as a teenager. So yes, that renders him a bigot, and yes, it is appropriate to call him a hypocrite, and yes, a scumbag. Turns out the ‘danger’ to kids is Duggar himself.”

Montel quoted the Bible in reflecting on his views about Josh Duggar, reported the Blaze.

“The entire purpose of my rant about Josh Duggar is to illustrate a simple truth: Everything we judge we walk through,” wrote Williams in quoting Luke 6:37.

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”

The 19 Kids And Counting family, headed by matriarch Michelle Duggar, has become known for their Christian faith and pride in parenting, as the Inquisitr reported.

“The joy of being a mom is knowing that you have the privilege of investing into another person’s life for eternity. Pointing them in that direction and to success in life – it is one of the greatest things to do with your life. The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. We have the privilege of putting our imprint on these little lives.”
