Man Agrees To Run New York City Marathon in Pajamas for School in Zambia

Greg Krause of Chicago is running the New York Marathon this coming November. He is backed by SnoreStop after winning the bid on eBay to sponsor a runner during the marathon who has agreed to seriously compete in the event wearing pajamas.

Despite wearing an attire that might inhibit another competitor, however, Krause welcomes the challenge and knows he’ll be running for a worthy cause. The entire $9,000 bid will be donated to the Macha Innovative Christian School (MICS) in Macha, Zambia, a much-needed elementary school founded by his parents in 2005.

Three years ago, SnoreStop generated coverage after the company won also an eBay bid to advertise on entrepreneur Andrew Fischer’s forehead for a month.

The news may be boring, eliciting a wtf attitude, but I like the purpose of running in pajamas. It only takes a click on the link to see the story behind.

Very creative way to raise money for what seems like an excellent cause (MilesForMacha.com)!
    Good Job!
