‘Mean Girls’ Mansion Is For Sale And It’s The Epitome Of Popular Girl Luxury And Excess [Video]

Who wouldn’t want to live like the most popular girl in school? Even better, the most hated? Anyone could easily dislike a teenage girl who lives in a sprawling mansion like the one now for sale in Toronto — the one Mean Girls Regina George called home.

And what amazing digs she had. Besides being spectacularly beautiful, the Mean Girls mansion is the epitome of luxury, and Sotheby’s has listed the house with a price to match — a whopping $14.8 million.

But for that sale price, you’ll get a wine cellar, a spa, a master bedroom with a private sitting room, a front statue, and your own fountain, E! Online reported. The very descriptive listing from Sotheby’s oozes wealth and privilege, declaring it the “perfect balance of grandeur and elegance.”

Indeed. But most of us will be more interested in the manor for its role in the now-classic 2004 film, in which Regina’s crib is in the Chicago suburbs. But in real life, it’s located in the uber-ritzy Bridle Path neighborhood in Toronto, CBC reported.

Let Sotheby’s describe the excess. (And look at some insane pictures here)

“Large, spacious airy rooms flow with a symmetry that promotes a feeling of luxury and relaxation for formal entertaining or fine living … Masterfully built to a standard that is rarely seen and situated on a most private 2 acre property … Two storey grand entrance graced with Italian marble and coffered ceilings leads to a sweeping Scarlett O’Hara staircase and Juliette balcony overlooking the 20 foot cathedral ceiling in the great room … Master bedroom on the second floor is an oasis of solitude with a private sitting room and fireplace with all views overlooking the gardens … Oversized pool and regulation size tennis court involve active outdoor living … An architectural beauty of impeccable standard.”

Now that’s how to clinch a sale.

“The NeoClassical Solid Stone Estate” also features 11 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, a six-car garage for all your Lamborghinis, Mercedes and Ferraris, stone coach house, Poggenpohl cabinetry, quartz countertops and Wolf appliances, 10-foot-high ceilings, wine cellar, wet bar and spa, according to the listing.

And most importantly, there are separate living quarters so you don’t have to mingle with the help. That’s an important feature for any mansion for sale in today’s market.

Mean Girls isn’t the mansion’s only claim to fame. Apparently, Martha Stewart filmed a cooking show there and William Shatner used the foyer for a commercial. Other celebrities have graced its lush corridors, but the current owner refused to name drop, the Huffington Post added.

With luxury like that, it’s no wonder that Cady Heron (Lindsey Lohan) couldn’t help herself from declaring, when she first visits George (Rachel McAdams) in Mean Girls, “wow, your house is really nice.”

To which, the leader of the Plastics replied, “I know, right?”

We couldn’t agree more.
